SEO up: 5 tips to improve your SEO game

Rank up: Strong titles and descriptions appear directly in search results, when someone finds your site on a search engine, therefore giving you a good chance to influence searchers to visit your site and improve your overall SEO ranking.

With websites being created, Google searches being performed and tweets being posted in record numbers, or time, changing your marketing and SEO strategies is crucial.

Here are 5 tips to improve your SEO game:

1.) Think About Your Reader (First): Forget about overdoing it with unnecessary keywords. Instead, focus on what value - and impact - your content will have on your niche audience. Hint: If you write about pizza, make sure you go all in on pizza. In turn, you will draw people to your site and improve your search engine rankings.

2.) Keep An Eye On Your Site Search Data: It's always smart to check what words and phrases your visitors are typing into your internal search bar. Think: Having an idea about what is important to your customers, will help you develop more relevant content and keywords.

3.) Set Up a Google Local Listing: It's all about location. Setting up a Google Local Listing will definitely help your search engine rankings. (You will have a better chance to be found when consumers conduct a search for your given product/service.)

4.) Optimize For Mobile: Since so many consumers are conducting searches on their mobile devices, it's super important that your site is optimized to deliver the best mobile experience possible.

5.) Encourage Reviews/Engage Customers: It's also important you thank customers for posting positive reviews - and address any negative reviews and feedback. It will give your business a big (search engine) lift -- and lots of credibility all over the web.

NFL/College Football Betting Recap: Dolphins (+6.5), Middle Tennessee (+26.5) cash; 'MNF' total a push

Despite the 'Boys-Giants (39) total resulting in a push, both the Dolphins (+6.5) and Blue Raiders (+26.5) found the cash window as significant 'dogs, resulting in a profitable weekend if you took our advice in this space.

Here's a friendly tip: There's a profitable betting trend on Sunday Night Football - this week featuring the Chiefs and Buccaneers in Tampa - you should already be aware of.

But why bother with a game under serious weather scrutiny -- stay tuned to The Weather Channel, kids -- after scoring with two underdogs, including the Blue Raiders, who walked through the Hurricanes despite being (at or around) 26.5 road 'dogs.

So, with apologies for just missing out on a clean sweep, not too many people are going to complain, I think, about a 2-0-1 weekend in college football and NFL picks -- especially, if you read this blog and get them for FREE.

Unless of course, you're still betting that Mario Cristobal will be the savior at 'The U'.

Here are some quick thoughts .. and FYI: Please wager responsibly and don't spend it all in one place.

> Reminder: Having betting acumen will help you make strong betting decisions. I think I used mine in this particular spot. I got a few dirty messages from 'Canes fans after predicting Miami would likely be in trouble against Middle Tennessee (+26.5). For one, I didn't like the vibe around the team in the days leading up to the game. I also found Tyler Van Dyke's comments about the home crowds at Hard Rock Stadium a little bit odd. I've never been sold on this Miami coaching staff; just feels like money is being thrown around. Add having to get ready for a quality opponent - after losing to Texas A&M - and I sensed trouble. Just think: Mario Cristobal is four games into a 10-year, $85 deal. Ouch.

>Outside of a major injury to Josh Allen, perhaps, Buffalo will prove to be better than Miami by season's end. However, I just felt the Bills, playing a third game in 18 days and dealing with injuries to their secondary, would struggle to make enough plays on defense to win in this spot. Note: It took some wild stuff - especially at the end there - for the Dolphins to win as home 'dogs.

>Scoring with the under total of 39 looked pretty safe 'til three fairly quick touchdowns in the second half derailed any chance of hitting our bet. But we didn't lose any money .. and turned out a solid profit for you ... So, contact me if you're in the market for a sports betting content creator ready to take you to the cash window.

NFL/College football best bets this week : It's time to bet against the Bills and Hurricanes.

Old rivals highlight the NFL's Week 3 betting board as the Dolphins (2-0 SU, ATS) host the Bills (2-0 SU, ATS) with early-season AFC bragging rights on the line. Buffalo, coming off a dominant Monday night home win, has had little trouble with Miami in recent years, but the Dolphins (+6), underdogs for the second straight week, are feeling pretty good after a miraculous win against the Ravens and have a chance to make quite a statement vs. the Super Bowl-trendy Bills.

> Can the Cowboys (+1), aided by a very good defense led by Micah Parsons and a little help from Cooper Rush, put the Giants to sleep as short road 'dogs on Monday Night Football?

> Is Mario Cristobal, charged with getting the home fav Hurricanes (-26.5) ready for Middle Tennessee a week after a listless performance at Texas A&M, really over his head at Miami?

How old is too OLD to wear a football jersey?

Last week, I promised I would officially retire from making anymore football picks in this space. Seriously. It's officially the weekend and you're probably busy googling 'Drinks', not consumed with an NFL and college football betting hack coming off a 2-4 week, which included sending you to sleep on Monday night feeling like a total loser --  after the Vikings wet the bed in Philly.

But at 9-8 and still over .500 for the season, including (4-2) in the NFL and (5-6) in college football, we're just going to forget about what happened at Syracuse last Saturday and move on to another week of best bets - instead of putting on a fake mustache and moving to San Juan, Puerto Rico, because why look worse than I already do?

See you at the cash window, everyone.

Bills @ Dolphins (+6.5): I'm not betting long-term on the Dolphins or people who wear football jerseys - especially if you are 60+ and have grandkids. However, this is a bad spot for the Bills, playing a third game in 18 days and dealing with a host of injuries to their secondary. Buffalo, on a short week after a Monday night home win, has already criss-crossed the country after opening the season in L.A. The Dolphins, feeling themselves a bit after sneaking up on the Ravens from way behind, have opened talks with the City of Miami Gardens to build a Tua Tagovailoa statue. Bet the home 'dog, kids.

Heads up: The Dolphins (+6.5), coming off a straight up, come-from-behind win in Baltimore as a road underdog, host the Bills in an early-season AFC clash at Hard Rock Stadium. Photo Courtney: Getty Images

Cowboys @ Giants Under 39: Have you watched the Titans or Panthers lately? I thought so. Now, the Giants, and specifically QB Daniel Jones, have to deal with a star pass-rusher in Micah Parsons who helps the rest of the 'Boys D disrupt the offensive flow of any opponent. Dallas, still without QB Dak Prescott, was fortunate against a mediocre Bengals defense last week. Let's trust it's a quick moving game and Cooper Rush is on his best behavior. Bet the under.

Middle Tennessee (+26.5) @ Miami: Who doesn't love a honeymoon? Unfortunately, I think Mario Cristobal's cafecito is running out of steam rather quickly. The Blue Raiders have the kind of pass rush capable of giving Miami, a huge home favorite, some serious problems. I'm also not sold on this 'Canes coaching staff. Bet Middle Tennessee to stay inside the number, if not put a real scare into a Miami team that rarely covers against non-conference opponents. Be careful.

Favorite son: Mario Cristobal, coming off his first loss as UM head coach after a lackluster performance vs. Texas A&M, looks to get the Hurricanes (-26.5) back in the win column - against Middle Tennessee at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Bettor Up: Week 2 NFL Bets

I'm still trying to figure out if Russell Wilson indeed tapped out of those final seconds vs. the Seahawks and the color of Al Michaels' hair, so pardon me for my late arrival to examine the NFL's Week 2 betting board.

I know it's one week and some people are making Super Bowl reservations right this minute for Geno Smith after he helped Seattle get a flucky win over Denver, but it's human nature to overreact to in-your-face results after eight months of no real NFL football. Hopefully my 3-0 start to the (2022) NFL betting season entices you to wager more money on the Jets to win the AFC East.

Bears (+10) @ Packers: The Bears, double-digit home underdogs in Week 1, showed marked improvement on both sides of the ball in their win over San Francisco. On the flip side, Green Bay looked out of sorts, especially on offense, in their loss to the Vikings. I think the NFC North is going to be better than what most people think. I also have a thing for road underdogs on SNF.

Vikings (+2.5) @ Eagles: We have two MNF games this week and I kind of like plays in both of them. Let's start here where the revamped Eagles narrowly escaped in Detroit despite their offense looking the part. Only problem now is they face a Vikings defense that will pressure Jalen Hurts, if not disrupt their running game. Therefore, it's unlikely the Eagles will have their way with Minnesota's front seven. I also like the Vikings chances of setting the pace to the game behind their offensive line. Bet the road underdogs.

Titans @ Bills Under 51.5:  The Titans, for all their problems vs. the Giants in Week 1 , always seem to have the kind of roster make-up to give the Bills some problems. While strong at passing the ball and limiting big plays on defense, Buffalo struggles to run the football and stopping the opposition from running it against them. Buffalo also had the luxury of plenty of short drives vs. the Rams in Week 1. So, look for the Titans to take the air out of the football as this game stays under the total number.

Bettor Up: College football Week 3 best bets

(Outside of No. 12 BYU @ No. 25 Oregon and No. 13 Miami @ No. 24 Texas A&M, the Week 3 college football betting board is thin on marquee matchups. However, plenty of college football bettors everywhere from Hialeah, Florida to Lake Forest, California, if not from parts in-between, will be out to bet themselves back up a week after Appalachian St. put another dent in Jimbo Fisher's doghouse, Marshall unhinged 'The Golden Dome' and the Longhorns scared Nick's kids.)

The good news, besides Jimbo Fisher still being the head coach at Texas A&M, if you enjoy betting against the Aggies, is you've survived the first three weeks of the 2022 college football season. I've also hit my last four college football picks after an 0-4 start to the 2022 season, including going 0-3 in Week 0. The bad news is I will no longer be making free college football betting picks after this week. So, drop me a line if you are in the market for a sports betting content provider or interested in my picks..

Here are my college football Week 3 betting picks. As you should already be doing, please bet responsibly.

Florida State @ Louisville, Under 56.5:

The emergence of Florida State's defense, which had their way with LSU, and is well-rested after a bye week, combined with Louisville's inability to score on offense, despite the services of dual-threat QB Malik Cunningham, makes this an easy call.

Purdue @ Syracuse, Under 58.5:

I don't eat many oranges. I don't wear a lot of orange. I'm also not sold on Syracuse QB Garrett Schrader doing much against a strong Purdue defense. Syracuse, on the other hand, has a very good defense as well. So, bet on lots of defense under the 'Dome'.

California (+11) @ Notre Dame:

Unfortunately, Brian Kelly is not walking through that door anytime soon. Not only are the roses drying up for Marcus Freeman rather quickly, but with QB Tyler Buchner likely out for the entire season the Irish will have to turn their offense over to Drew Pyne - on a full-time basis. California, physical on defense and good enough to get into a grind-it-out, low-scoring affair as a significant road underdog, is the side here. Especially, if you can find 10+ anywhere. Shop around, kids.

Bettor Up: NCAAF + NFL Best Bets

I bet even some of my biggest fans - including all four of my betting friends -  were ready to give up on me, before I delivered in this very blog space with a 3-1 week.

That's right. We're just going to forgive Penn State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz for an uninspiring performance vs. Purdue, and ruining my dreams of an undefeated week.

Let's move forward to the first week of the football season - with both NCAAF and NFL betting action on the board.

Kent St. (+32.5) @ Oklahoma (My Bet: I'm not sold on the Sooners as Top-10 material at this point, so my suggestion is to bet against them every week they play, including in this spot. The Golden Flashes can score, if not gain yards in bunches. Oklahoma, on the other hand, has a big date vs. Nebraska next week.

Bills @ Rams U52.5 (My Bet: Don't let all the opening night hype sway your betting perspective. Both the Bills and Rams have issues to workout on offense.)

Colts @ Texans (+8.5) (My Bet: NFL home teams haven't exactly been money in recent years but we're betting Houston's improved roster, which includes a very capable QB in Davis Mills, makes enough plays on both sides of the ball. We're also not buying all the Matt Ryan hoopla.)

Broncos @ Seahawks (+5.5) (My Bet: The rest of the season might spiral out of control for the Seahawks, but the home underdog is super live in this spot. So, hold your nose and bet on Seattle to spoil Russell Wilson's return 'home'.)
